Gustavo Laura and we welcome the year 2011.

hope this year will be productive, so we'll do more than teach, to bring them to a museum actually more "tangible" than give the notes and books.

To do this, you will be making various levels of practice, some mandatory and others volunteers, but always with an essential theoretical support . So this year will perform:

• normal classes such masterful.
• Debates in the classroom, workshop type.
• Surveys
• Museum Coordination with other Angel Gallardo and Museology, to visit the museum.
• An internship (ad-Honours) at Cemetery El Salvador, to help with cataloging.
• voluntary practices at the Institute of Tradition Martin Fierro, coordinated by Gloria Sanchez Almeyra: design of a store, design a museum documenting cultural property, value of paintings and , exhibition design.

In this context, the idea is not only to initial notions of museology, but also museum criteria and the possibility of decisions about form a collection, to mount a show or catalog assets. At the same time introducing students to the understanding of the roles of institutions and the usual mechanisms for approval and realization of cultural projects.
Guide to the Chair for consideration by the museum as a social application area, away from elitism and individualism that are of little use to the museum audience. We prefer to train professionals aware of their responsibilities, and integrate vocation teams.
